BRU-12/A

The BRU-12/A is a lightweight, durable, and combat-proven electro-mechanical ejector rack designed for fixed mounting in military aircraft bomb bays. This highly reliable system can carry, arm, and release weapons/stores weighing up to 1,450 pounds, utilizing two 14-inch spaced hooks. Two solenoid-actuated arming units provide mechanical arming for the nose and tail of the store upon electrical actuation during release; otherwise, the store releases unarmed. A Linear Electromechanical Actuator (LEMA) provides electrical release, with no manual in-flight release option. This system supports a range of stores, including munitions, missiles, torpedoes, and sonobuoys, offering improved safety and reliability over the MAU-38 series. It features a linear electro-mechanical spring-loaded actuator and is currently in production and exportable.
