Internal Weapons Bay Adapters
The F-35 Lightning II (JSF) Weapons Bay Adapters are a family of products that integrate with the aircraft's internal weapons bay and enable carriage of a wide variety of munitions. Currently, ten (10) distinct adapters have been produced to date.
Several variations of the Weapons Bay Adapter Family exist, to support a variety of precision-guided munitions.

| Low-in-Bay (LIB) Adapter | Designed to interface in the Quick Latch System at Stations 4 or 8 in the F-35A or F-35C Weapons Bay, and hold the BRU-68/A in the proper position to provide adequate clearance between a given Weapon and the structure/subsystems contained within the Weapons Bay. |
| High-in-Bay (HIB) Adapter | Designed to interface in the Quick Latch System at Stations 4 or 8 in the F-35A or F-35C Weapons Bay, and hold the BRU-68/A in the proper position to provide adequate clearance between a given Weapon and the structure/subsystems contained within the Weapons Bay. |

| Paveway IV Adapter | For carriage of the 500 lb. class Paveway IV munition |
| GBU-12 Adapter | For carriage of the 500 lb. class GBU-12 Paveway II munition |
| GBU-32 Adapter | For carriage of the 1,000 lb. class GBU-32 JDAM munition |
| JSM Adapter | For internal carriage of the Joint Strike Missile (JSM), an airborne derivative of the Naval Strike Missile (NSM) |
