LAU-129

The LAU-129 is a single rail missile launcher which is part of the Missile Rail Launcher (MRL) family of launchers, which include LAU-127 and LAU-128. Initially designed for the carriage and release of AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-120 AMRAAM, it can also be adapted to support similar sized non U.S. missile systems.

The U.S. variant is the LAU-129A/A. In addition, there are 5 other variants produced for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) whose only difference is the material they are coated with or the color of the coating. All 6 variants use common parts.

The FMS designated variants include LAU-129B/A, LAU-129C/A, LAU-129D/A, LAU-129E/A and LAU-129F/A.
